We have been given the ok. School will be released at 2:30pm.

Due to a safety situation in the Brainard community, the Butler County Sheriff's office has requested that we put the buildings on "hold". This means students and staff are not to go outside the building. If you plan to come to the building for the senior vs. staff game, please come to the east main entrance.

Plant sale, succulent bar, & Tiger Den sale starts at 3:30 today! Students have put so much time and talents into this! Come see us!

The East Butler class of 2024 seniors enjoyed one of their last class memories as they went to TOPGOLF in Omaha.

NHS FOOD DRIVE UPDATE!
It has come to my attention that Dwight's students' contributions to the NHS food drive were never counted. An estimated count brings the grand total to over 1650 items delivered to the David City food pantry.
Thanks again to everyone who contributed!

The FFA banquet celebrated our members in so many ways! The officer team did an amazing job with the planning and program! Congrats to the seniors & new officer team!

The kindergarteners are published Authors! We worked together to write and illustrate an alphabet book. To celebrate we had an author's tea today!

Thank you for the donations for the NHS canned food drive. 3rd graders enjoyed their ice cream party today with the NHS students. 🍦

Running events at the high school CRC meet tomorrow will begin at 12:00. Discus and pole vault start at 8:30, with all other field events starting at 9:00 A.M.

Tonight's FFA Banquet will proceed as planned. Looking at the hour-by-hour forecast, the weather looks to be ok at that time. #EvenBetter

We are preparing to dismiss students - 3:30pm dismissal. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

With our area in a tornado warning, we are sheltering the students in the buildings. We will reevaluate in the next 10 minutes. Students are safe and secure. Thank you for your understanding.

Tiger Families,
We are continuing to watch the weather, currently, there is a Thunderstorm/Tornado warning for Seward County with the expectation that it may hit the southeast corner of Butler County within the hour. This may cause a delay in dismissal and transportation today.
Mr. Eldridge

Gg is for games, gold fish, and glow sticks! The Dwight kindergarten had fun using highlighters to do their math, playing board games, and having a glow dance party this afternoon!

The CRC jr high track meet tomorrow has been postponed to Tuesday April 30th. Same start time as originally planned.
