The East Butler Dance Team will be headed to state tomorrow to compete in Jazz on Friday in Grand Island.

The High School team wins the CRC Quiz Bowl with a 4-0 record for the day!

Congratulations to Danica Watts for being the first Blue River Wrestler to be a STATE Medalist! Danica’s and the other seniors’ hard work in the practice room and senior leadership helped shape the Blue River program.

FCCLA Week 2026
We celebrated our 67 FCCLA members by decorating the wall in the Multi-Purpose room.
Each FCCLA member received 67 cents' worth of snacks.
The letters "FCCLA" were hidden around the school for members to find and receive prizes.
Our 'Christmas on the Bricks' FCCLA Chili Cookoff Champions served samples of their chili and showed off the trophy they won!

Colleen Zajac and Valerie Vandenberg presented at the Nebraska Alliance for Conversation and Environmental Education Conference (NACEE) where they showcased the amazing work the East Butler students do with insects.



Congratulations to Bella Christian! She placed 2nd in her Serious Prose Merit Final at the Osceola speech meet! Last week she placed 3rd at the Hampton Speech meet.Next week she will compete at Meridian.


Dwight kindergarten have spent the last week learning about the Winter Olympic Games. Today they had their own games where they did the speedskate (running), bobsled (scooter), curling (broom and paper plate), ski jump (long jump), and ice hokey. They also made medals and torches! We can’t wait to see how the actual games go! Go USA!










Brainard 5th graders building freshwater collection systems! 💧





Girls and boys basketball parents will be announced between the girls and boys varsity games. Cheerleaders parents will be recognized at halftime of the boys game.
