Dwight Kindergarten has 13 students this school year and they are up and running with learning all the rules and expectations of kindergarten by doing "Kindergarten Bootcamp" this week. They've had fun learning how to color, cut, glue, and work together! Here's to a great school year! #evenbetter

Yearbooks are in!! If you ordered a 2024-2025, you may pick it up in Ms. Widick's room during the open house Tuesday evening. Otherwise, yearbooks will be distributed to students at school. Patrons without students in school can contact Ms. Widick to discuss getting their copy.

The East Butler open house will be taking Tuesday, August 12 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in both locations.

Come out and support the East Butler Foundation in their Golf Scramble on August 16th, 2025, at the David City Golf Course. All money raised goes to support student and alumni scholarships. There are still spots available to register your team, so grab yours today.

All Teammates mentees, mentors and all family members are welcome to the Teammates Back to School Picnic! Sunday, 5:00-6:30 at the David City Park. Please bring a dish to share.

We will be having coach/parent meetings after the open house on Tuesday. Each sport will meet in the following rooms: Football in the gym Cross Country in the commons Volleyball in the library Softball will be Monday at 6:30 at the field in David City.

**Reminder:** The 7th Grade and New Student Orientation will take place on Tuesday, August 5, at 6:00 PM in the Commons. Please enter through the Main Entrance or the Commons doors. You can pay the computer fee, activity fee, and lunch fee using multiple checks or exact cash.

The Blue River Wrestling Camp was fun and a lot of skills were developed. Huge thanks to our clinicians Ella Shevlin & Lacy Lemburg and other volunteers.

🐅🏈The high school football team attended the Butler County 8 Man Jamboree in David City this week. We had great attendance and got great reps for both the varsity and jv players. Only 36 more days until our season opener! Go tigers! 🏈🐅

Tigers - the Brainard school office will be closed Thursday and Friday of this week. Our custodial staff are putting the final touches on their summer work. (Waxing the floors) The office will reopen on Monday, July 28th. Thank you for your understanding. - M. Eldridge
