
Congratulations to Hannah Strizek - All-State Chorus member!! Hannah was selected after a lengthy audition process from students in all classes around the state. She will participate in the All-State Chorus rehearsals November 20-22nd, with a concert to follow on the 22nd at 4:30 at the Lied Center in Lincoln. #EBMusic


Our elementary music department works with the kindergarten classes to reinforce our weekly letter sounds. This week the students are learning how to read and spell words that have the short /i/ sound so the student made inchworms in music class today! 🎶 🪱 #evenbetter




Playoff Football Send Off!!! Main Street in Brainard on Thursday, October 24 at 12:30. The team plans to leave at 12:45.


The volleyball games tonight will be played at York University and not the Auditorium. Game time is 5:00.

Preschool/Tiger Kids Club Information:
*Preschool in both Brainard and Dwight will be in session on Thursday, but will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.
*Tiger Kids Club will be available from 1:30-6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

The East Butler High School football team will travel to Plainview on Thursday this week to take on the Plainview Pirates in the first round of state football playoffs. Kickoff time is at 5:00pm. Due to this we will dismiss at 1:30pm on Thursday, October 24th. Go Tigers!

Our Tiger football team is playoff bound. They will be traveling to Plainview on Thursday, October 24th. Kickoff will be at 5:00 P.M.

The Grand Opening for the in-school savings program took place today in Brainard! We appreciated having Dr. Jennifer Davidson with the Nebraska Council of Economic Education and UNL visit our school. We also appreciate representatives from First Nebraska Bank coming to East Butler.

The Cross Country Team ran well at the District Meet at Oakland, with many of them finishing with their best times of the season.
Henry Weverka finished top out of the boys team at 20th, and Isaiah Coufal finished 31st. Malorie Spatz finished 16th, and Nevayla Hilton finished 17th for the girls team.
All five of the varsity girls and Henry finished with Top 10 times in EB history in their respective grades. It was a great season with all of the runners improving their times throughout the year.




Your Tigers come back to beat Centennial 18-8 tonight in Dwight! East Butler finishes the regular season 6-2 and will learn their 1st round playoff matchup on Saturday morning. Stay tuned for more details. Go Tigers!
